A. Business Manager Account Creation Errors

Common Errors and Solutions:

  • “An error occurred while processing this request. Please try again later.”
    • This message indicates a general error with no specific cause provided. 

Solution: Use an active Facebook account with good standing or contact Support for further assistance.

  • “You have reached the limit for the number of Businesses you can create at this time.”
    • There’s a cap on the number of Business Accounts you can own. 

Solution: Use an existing Business Account or delete any unused Business Accounts.

  • “Your Facebook account is too new to create a business account. Try again in an hour.”
    • New Facebook accounts have restrictions.

 Solution: Use an older, active Facebook account or wait a few hours.

  • “We limit how often you can post, comment or do other things in a given amount of time in order to help protect the community from spam. You can try again later.”
    • Your account may have been flagged. 

Solution: Use an existing Facebook account with a clean history.

  • “You’re no longer allowed to use Facebook Products to advertise.”
    • Account restrictions due to previous violations. 

Solution: Use another account without previous issues.

  • “Your payment account is disabled.”
    • Issues with payment methods or account standing. 

Solution: Contact Facebook for assistance at here.

  • “A User Can Only Create One Business User At One Time.”
    • Limitations on rapid creation of Business Accounts. 

Solution: Use an existing Business Account.

  • “The name you chose for your business isn’t valid.”
    • Issues with the business name format.

Solution: Ensure the business name is valid and retry.

B. WhatsApp Business Account Creation Errors

  • “User does not have permission to create WhatsApp Business Accounts.”
    • Lack of Admin privileges.

 Solution: Obtain Admin access or use an account where you have the necessary permissions.

  • “You can only create a limited number of WhatsApp Business Accounts before verification is complete.”
    • Restrictions before business verification. 

Solution: Complete the Business Verification and then proceed.

  • “We can’t verify the Facebook Business Account that you selected.”
    • Compliance issues with the selected account. 

Solution: Visit Business Manager for more information or consider resubmitting your Business Verification.

  • “Something has gone wrong. You will need to contact support and try again.”
    • General intermittent issues. 

Solution: Retry the process after a few minutes.

C. Phone Setup Errors

  • “This phone number already exists in your list of phone numbers.”
    • Duplicate number entry. 

Solution: Choose the existing number or restart the flow.

  • “This number is registered to an existing WhatsApp account.”
    • Number is already in use. 

Solution: Disconnect the existing account and retry. (re-direct to using previously registered phone number document)

  • “Your verified name violates WhatsApp guidelines.”
    • Non-compliant business profile name.

 Solution: Modify the name to meet guidelines. (re direct to wepos display name guidelines document)

D. Phone Verification Errors

  • “Phone number ownership is already verified.”
    • No action needed if the number is already verified. 

Solution: Refresh the page to see updates.

  • “Your phone number doesn’t appear to be valid.”
    • Incorrect number format. 

Solution: Double-check the number and retry.

  • “You have guessed too many times.”
    • Exceeded verification attempts. 

Solution: Wait 12 hours before retrying.

  • “There was an error verifying this phone number.”
    • Issue with verification code. 

Solution: Attempt verification again later.

  • “You have requested your code too many times.”
    • Limit on code requests. 

Solution: Wait for the cool-down period to expire before requesting again.
